Day 142 ~ Carpet of Leaves ~
We went back to the hiking trail on Sunday to try to find the main falls but we couldn't find it again but its a gorgeous trail. The lower part of this forest is exactly where we got lost in the woods the other night in the dark.

Day 141 ~ Rockway Falls ~

Ryan and I went out for a hike to Rockway Falls today at sunset to get some pics. We didn't make it to the main falls because the sun was going down quickly. We got lost in the woods on our way out and the sun was going down quickly and we could hear coyotes howling in the distance. At this point I'm totally freaking out and am starting to feel like I'm in a horror film. Luckily we heard cars in the distance and followed the sounds and found our way to the highway. It was quite the adventure to get these images but well worth it in the end...although next time I think I will leave well before sunset.

This is my first attempt at creating an HDR image. It's not the best example because there are only sublt differences. But the top one is a lot softer tones and more appealing to my eyes.

HDR is when you take one regular exposed picture, one over exposed and one underexposed and merge them together.

Day 133 ~ Ontario Drive ~
We drove to Bon Echo early Sunday morning for thanksgiving camping style with family. The drive was absolutely beautiful north of Napanee, the lighting was perfect in the morning. I used my new polarizor that helped with colour and to pop the clouds more.

I rented a wide angle lens for the weekend and I loved it! So that will be my next lens purchase:)
