Day 154 ~ Knit Project ~

I've started to knit a coffee mug cozy for a xmas gift this year. It's hard for me to finish a knitting project so hopefully I can get this completed before its too late. Look out for the finished product soon....I hope:)

Day 153 ~ Strong Man Competition ~

Dawn and Aidan visited this past weekend and we went to the arcade for the afternoon. This pic is of Aidan showing us how strong he is.

Day 152 ~ Testing High ISO ~

I haven't had much time to play around with my new camera yet but the other night I tested out using a high ISO indoors and later at night. The high ISO worked really well and isn't grainy so thats great! Since the weather has changed and I don't see the daylight often it really has put a damper on my photography. Lots of new adventures coming up soon with great potential for getting out and shooting so I'm looking forward to that.

Day 148 ~ It's Beginning To Look a Lot like Xmas ~

Ryan and I went for a walk down by the falls tonight to see all the lights display. I can't believe its Christmas season already. This image was taken with my new Nikon D90 camera that I bought recently and absolutely LOVE! There is a lot more to learn now with this camera and hopefully my photography skills will continue to improve. I miss my online photography course because it gets me out shooting more but I have a travel photography course this weekend to look forward too!

Day 147 ~Tealights ~

Day 147 ~ Welland Country ~

On my way home from Toronto today I stopped in Welland looking for a waterfall but came across this instead. This image is 3 photos combined together for a High Dynamic Range. The birds in the water were floating so this created a ghost effect which I actually don't mind.

Day 146 ~ Raindrops on Roses ~

I went to the botanical gardens today, I have been so busy I haven't gone in a while. It was a cloudy rainy day today not the best for pics but the flowers looked beautiful covered in raindrops.
