On my flight home I had a 8 hr stopover in Amsterdam so I decided to take the train from the airport downtown. It was such a change from being in Africa that I experienced some culture shock all over again. It was early morning so everyone was rushing to get their Starbucks coffee and then to work. Going from seeing people living in poverty to then being in a country of people living in overconsumption, I find it all hard to deal with even now since I've been home. While in Amsterdam I walked around the city and did a boat tour of the canal.
