Saturday I had a day off so we thought we would explore just the local area a bit. The top pic is of Joggins Fossil Cliffs which is one of the main attractions closest to Amherst. It has fossils that date back 300 million years and is world famous in the nerd world...lol. It's on the Bay of Fundy and when we got there the tide was starting to rise, earlier in the day you could walk out far and search for undiscovered fossils. And the bottom picture was taken in Parrsboro which is on the Bay of Fundy as well. We got there at low tide which was kind of cool to see and be able to walk around where in 5 hours will be filled with water. We plan to go to the New Brunswick side of the Bay of Fundy in a few weeks.
